The system will consist of four parts:

1. Kernel module: This module provides Profinet sockets support over kernel driver.

2. C Library: This library provides higher PN-applications with C-library functions.

3. XML-RPC server: This server provides a PHP-based interface for configuring PROFINET IO-devices.

4. PHP application: This application provides a user-friendly interface for users to interact with the system.

The system will run on Linux host as setup environment of Profinet devices. It also runs on embedded machines such as Raspberry Pi or even tiny microcontrollers such as the Pico.
